World Coronavirus Death Toll Reaches 1,407,542

According to the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University, global deaths from the novel coronavirus infection reached 1,407,542 as of Wednesday morning.

In addition, around the world, 59,671,202 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed.

Although new infection cases continue to rise among the world's infected population at present, most of them are in mild condition.

In its daily updates, Worldometer reports that 17,031,765 of the 17,135,216 infected patients actually are in mild condition, which is 99 percent.

On the other hand, of the actually infected patients, 103,451 are in critical condition, and there is just one percent.

So far, 38,189,510 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 32 more Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours as of Tuesday, increasing the death toll from the pandemic to 6,448.

Besides, the tally of infections has surged to 4,51,990 as 2,230 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
