COVID-19: Global Death Toll Reaches 1,450,326

According to the Centre for System Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, the global tally of deaths from the novel coronavirus infection reached 1,450,326 as of Sunday morning.

In addition, around the world, 62,147,874 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed.

Although new infection cases continue to rise among the world's infected population at present, most of them are in mild condition.

Of the 17,811,359 patients currently infected, 17,811,359 are in mild condition, which is 99.4 percent, reported by Worldometer in its daily updates.

105,238 of the patients actually infected, on the other hand, are in critical condition, and their proportion is only 0.6.

So far, 39,755,287 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, as of Saturday, 36 more Covid-19 patients have died in the past 24 hours, increasing the death toll from the pandemic to 6,580.

In addition, the infection tally has risen to 4,60,619 as 1,908 new cases was confirmed in the last 24 hours.
