World Coronavirus Death Toll Reaches 1,555,138

According to the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University, global deaths from the novel coronavirus infection reached 1,555,138 as of Wednesday morning.

In addition, around the world, 68,158,534 Covid-19 cases have been reported.

Although new infection cases continue to rise among the world's infected population at present, most of them are in mild condition. 

19,431,356 of the currently 19,537,744 infected patients are in mild condition, which is 99.5 percent, reported by Worldometer in its daily updates.

106,388 of the patients actually infected, on the other hand, are in critical condition, and their percentage is just 0.5.

43,889,842 people have recovered so far.

In Bangladesh, as of Tuesday, 32 more Covid-19 patients have died in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll from the pandemic to 6,906.
