Coronavirus: Global Death Toll Reaches 1,692,210

According to the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University, global deaths from the novel coronavirus infection reached 1,692,210 as of Monday morning.

In addition, around the world, 76,760,893 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed.

Although new infection cases continue to grow among the world's infected population in the current situation, most of them are in mild condition. 

Among the currently 21,381,458 infected patients 21,275,188 are in mild condition, which is 99.5 percent, Worldometer records in its daily updates.

On the other hand, 106,270 of the currently infected patients are in serious condition, and their percentage is only 0.5.

So far, 43,244,308 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 38 more Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours as of Sunday, increasing the death toll from the pandemic to 7,280.

Besides, the tally of infections has surged to 500,713 as 1,153 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
