Pfizer-Moderna Sells for Thousands of Dollars Per Second

Coronavirus vaccine companies are making a thousand dollars per second. And only two percent of people in poor countries have been vaccinated.

The picture is terrible. Pfizer-Biotech, Moderna is earning a thousand dollars per second by selling the corona vaccine to rich countries. Their combined profit is about 93.5 million dollar per day. 

The People's Vaccine Alliance (PVA), a voluntary organization, provided the calculations. At the same time, they said, while rich countries are benefiting vaccine manufacturers by buying more vaccines, only two percent of people in poorer countries have been vaccinated.

Analyzing the earnings reports of PVA vaccine companies, they reported huge profits. But these companies have also received hundreds of crores of government assistance. Various organizations and individuals have urged them to transfer technology to poor countries. Then it will be possible to save millions of people. These companies did not listen to that request.

The attitudes of AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson are very different from those companies. They sold the vaccine without profit. However, they have now reported that the incidence of corona has decreased. So they are thinking of a change of policy.

According to the latest data from the IMF, advanced countries have already vaccinated an average of 39.7 percent of the population. Emerging countries have vaccinated 11 percent of the population. On the other hand, low-income countries have been able to vaccinate only 1.2 percent of the population.  

PVA also includes Oxfarm, UNAIDS, African Alliance. They demanded that intellectual property rights be revoked in the case of the Covid 19 vaccine. But Germany and the United Kingdom did not agree.

Health experts have repeatedly said that equal emphasis should be placed on corona treatment in all countries. But this picture of rich and poor countries shows that it is not happening in reality.

According to the World Health Organization, delta-type coronavirus is responsible for 99.5% of the current corona. One of the pictures of the whole world. Delta has become deadly, leaving behind another virus of corona. In South America alone, people are being infected with gamma, lambda, and mucosal viruses. Excluding that, Delta is rampant in all other countries.
