A passenger plane heading to a mountainous area of Nepal went missing on Sunday with 22 people on board, the airline said.
"A domestic flight bound to Jomsom from Pokhara has lost contact," Sudarshan Bartaula, spokesman for Tara Air, told AFP. He said there were 19 passengers on board and three crew members.
An airline official said the plane was carrying four Indians and two other foreigners, though their nationality was not known.
Nepal, home to the world's highest mountain, has a record of accidents on its extensive domestic air network, with changeable weather and airstrips in difficult mountain locations._AFP
