8 Killed after Hurricane in Russia

Authorities in Russia said that during a hurricane, trees toppled into a campground, causing eight deaths and ten further hospitalizations.

Yevgeny Maslov, mayor of Yoshkar-Ola, stated, "According to the most recent information, eight persons perished in Mari El as a result of the hurricane that occurred the day before. 

Yoshkar-Ola is the biggest city in the Russian region of Mari El, which is situated along the Volga River's northern bank.
