During Ramadan, concerns arose among Palestinians about the performance of Taraweeh prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque due to the escalating Israeli oppression and aggression against Muslims as soon as the month began. With the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict, tensions were even higher.

Despite all obstacles and fears, thousands of Muslims performed their Taraweeh prayers at Masjid al-Aqsa, Islam's third holiest site, without succumbing to fear.

Women and children were also present for prayers, with devout Muslims joining congregational prayers with dedication. Not only within the mosque premises but also outside in the courtyard, many people prayed. However, various media outlets reported that certain conditions were set for those coming to pray, with the most significant restriction being that individuals under 40 were not allowed to enter Al-Aqsa.

The Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem is considered one of Islam's most important religious sites, akin to the significance of the mosques in Mecca and Medina. Every year, thousands of Muslims from various countries around the world gather in its precincts.

It's worth mentioning that the death toll in the Gaza Strip due to Israeli military attacks has exceeded 31,000, with a significant number being women and children.

The Gaza Health Ministry has reported that many people are still trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings, with rescuers struggling to reach them. Additionally, malnutrition and dehydration have contributed to the death toll, with 25 individuals reported dead due to starvation and dehydration in Gaza, according to the Health Ministry.
