The
ongoing strict restrictions have been extended till July 14. In such a
situation, the previous directive issued by the Ministry of Religion for
performing prayers in the mosque will remain in force till July 14.
The directive, signed by Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Religion Mohammad
Quddus Ali Sarkar, was issued on Tuesday (July 6th).
It
said that considering the current situation of coronavirus-borne disease
(Covid-19), the Cabinet Department's restrictions and activities have been extended
from midnight on July 7 to midnight on July 14. In view of this, the Ministry
of Religious Affairs has been requested to abide by the following conditions
imposed on the religious institutions of all religions in the present context
of the country and for performing congregation prayers in mosques.
